Alzheimer's Association
The Alzheimer's Association is the largest national voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research into the causes, treatments, prevention, and cure of Alzheimer's disease and to providing support to the four million Americans with the disease, their families and caregivers.

Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio
Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio (COA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing quality of life for older adults, people with disabilities, their families and caregivers and a state-designated Area Agency on Aging, serving a 21-county region.  Their website links to a wide variety of agencies, information and programs that serve older adults and people with disabilities in this area.

Ethnic Elder Care
Ethnic Elder Care presents a comprehensive presentation of information about Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias among ethnic minority elders in the United States.  Ethnic Elders is dedicated to promoting research, prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's Disease and related disorders, and to providing education, support and assistance to ethnic minority elderly patients, their families and caregivers.  This site contains articles, news, links and a monthly newsletter.

Healthcare.gov is a federal government website managed by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and is the official website for the Health Insurance Marketplace.  Visit Healthcare.gov to learn more about the new health care law, benefits and how to choose the right health insurance plan.

The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation

Kaiser is a non-profit, private operating foundation focusing on the major health care issues facing the U.S., as well as the U.S. role in global health policy.  They serve as a non-partisan source of facts, information, analysis and journalism for policymakers, the media, the health care community and the public.

The official U.S. Government website providing information about the different aspects of Medicare, what's new, and how to find Medicare plans, facilities or providers.

Medicare Rights Center
Medicare Rights Center (MRC) is the largest independent source of health care information and assistance in the United States for people with Medicare.  Founded in 1989, MRC helps older adults and people with disabilities get good, affordable health care.  MRC's website contains information about Medicare benefits, options and changes.  The site also contains updated information for consumers about the upcoming changes in Medicare and how those will affect their health coverage.

National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys
The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., is a non-profit association which assists lawyers, bar organizations, and others who work with older clients and their families.  Established in 1987, the Academy provides a resource of information, education, networking, and assistance to those who must deal with the many specialized issues involved with legal services to the elderly and disabled.

National Alliance for Caregiving
A very good resource for caregiving families and professionals, NAC is a Maryland based association of caregiving professional organizations that provides information, support, and national advocacy on behalf of caregivers.  They have provided many admirable reports, including an excellent guide to other websites with information on caregiving.  NAC's site is an excellent source of information for professionals looking for access to primary information on national issues on caregiving.

Ohio Department of Aging
This is the official website of the Ohio Department of Aging, the designated State Unit on Aging, as required by the Federal Older Americans Act.  It lists and describes the many services that the cabinet level agency provides.

Social Security Administration
The official website of the U.S. Social Security Administration.

The stopmedicarefraud.gov website is a collaborative effort between the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the HHS Office of Inspector General, the Center for Medicare and Medicare Services, and U.S. Department of Justice to provide a resource for individuals to report Medicare fraud.

Veterans Administration's Guide to Long Term Care
This website offers information for Veterans and caregivers/support persons about long-term care services and settings, links to helpful websites, decision aids, and personal stories that illustrate how to be involved in shared decisions about long term care.
